About Us

We have been selling rare books, autographs, and manuscripts since 1987 and are proud to be members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).  We exhibit annually at two ABAA book fairs--New York in April and Boston in November---and occasionally at one or two others, but the great majority of our sales are via the internet.   Hence, we are very careful and accurate in all stages of our business, from cataloging through packing and shipping.

We carry a diverse stock with major specialties including Modern and 19th Century Literary First Editions, Signed Books and Autographs (including a strong selection of U.S. Presidents), African-American Literature and History, Fine Press and Illustrated books, Hand-Colored Plate books, Early Printed books, and Limited Editions Club titles, of which we have the largest inventory for sale in the world. Please browse through our categories or search for particular titles or authors.  If you cannot find what you want, let us know and we'll be happy to search our extensive private inventory for you.
