Below the inscription, the book is SIGNED by the entire cast as well as by the director, stage manager, and set designer. The play opened on 10 February 1971 and ran for 337 performances. It was nominated for a Tony Award as Best Play and won both an Obie and a New York Drama Critics' Circle Award in that category. Among the actors signing are William Atherton, Frank Converse, Anne Meara, and Katherine Helmond. A couple of pages with underlining, presumably by Guare.
