n.d. Letter. Two AUTOGRAPH LETTERS SIGNED (ALSs) by the Cuban-born French Parnassian poet. One letter is to prolific French poet Léon Séché and mentions the philosopher/statesman Jules Simon. The other is addressed to Andre and is likely to French poet André Theuriet who received the prix Vitet from the Académie Française in 1890. A translation into English of the latter letter is included and concludes, "I await impatiently the reading of the poem, and I am happy that you won the prize under such honorable conditions."
