ORIGINAL ART composed of watercolor and ink (sight size 6-7/8" x 8-3/4" matted and framed to an overall size of 14" x 16") by Rowlandson depicting an interior genre scene with a young couple, the woman attending to the man's foot while he reaches for her with one hand and pours a teapot with the other SIGNED by Rowlandson at the lower right. Scarce ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR by one of the greatest of British graphic satirical artists. Rowlandson (1756-1827) depicted high and low life in England at the time, usually with a comic slant.
