Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and 56 full-page engraved plates, some with two images per plate, including ten maps (one folding), for a total of 57 plates. Some copies have as many as 62 plates, but it seems most have less. Some foxing and dampstaining, mostly to the text; plates and maps largely clean; some plates lacking. Binding is Fine.
