This is a year when Republicans are all working together. As I go about the country talking to candidates and other concerned Americans, I find everywhere a reassuring spirit of responsibility and eagerness to participate in the process of constructive political change. I think the votes cast November 5 will be more than merely a protest. They will be a mandate for new Republican leadership in the White House and in the Congress, to get on with the urgent business of building a better America."
