In addition this copy is INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the title page: "For John Koontz/with good wishes/and regards/Ray Carver/October 24, 1984." Koontz was a co-publisher with Bert Babcock of small press publications by modern authors including Carver's MY FATHER'S LIFE. He also wrote a review of REMEMBERING RAY (1993) that was published in WESTERN AMERICAN LITERATURE, Vol. 29, No. 2 (Summer 1994), page 179. An uncommon book to find inscribed.
