SIGNED by the President beneath a color image of the White House on the limitation leaf, #2212 of an unstated limitation of 2500 copies, which is often found removed from the book as it makes a beautiful display piece. A voluminous book of information and advertising (many liquor ads) that was used as a fund raiser for the Democratic Party. It contains FDR's acceptance speech, the Democratic Platform of 1936, and biographies of all the Cabinet members as well as articles on Congress, the Supreme Court, the Cabinet departments, and reproductions of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The recipient's name in gilt at the bottom of the front cover in this case is Lloyd Stark who served as the governor of Missouri from 1937 to 1941. Contents bright and fresh.
