Marshall Coyne was the owner of the Madison Hotel in Washington, a destination for many visiting dignitaries and celebrities. He was a friend of many in Congress. Upon his death, his close friend Alaskan senator Ted Stevens eulogized him and had his obituary entered into the Congressional Record.
