Washington DC: 25 March 1941. Ephemera. A pair of miniature Hellenic shoes, 4" long including the tassels, red wool knitted over boards, gifted to Franklin Delano Roosevelt with a description and inscription to him written on the insole and inner side lining. From the estate of White House Librarian Mary Eben. Very Good and most unusual and charming. Would make an interesting Christmas tree ornament. Item #019670
