Garfield served only four months as President before being shot by Charles Guiteau. His term was the second shortest served by a President. Contents clean. Covers faded with a large dampstain on the rear with an effect on the inside rear cover but very little to the rear endpapers; slight fraying to the rear spine edge and head. Good or better.
