This early American medical periodical includes articles by a number of physicians listed in Garrison. Some include "Remarks on the Chronic Fluxes of the Bowels" by N. Chapman (Garrison, p. 443); "Case of Cancer in the Throat, operation and recovery" by J. Mason Warren (Garrison p. 503). Also articles on the mortality rate in New York, Spina Bifida, Typhus fever, the retention of the placenta, and "Topographical and Medical Sketches of Mobile [Alabama] for the year 1835." Much more including reviews and bibliographical notices. Helpful index at the end.
